The artwork of Harriet is an ongoing and exciting journey of discovery, exploration and integration; an unfolding story of creativity. Her main obsessions mostly involve buildings, plants, people and beasts. But mostly, her main muse is the Yorkshire landscape, the history, the people and her home. She brings her subjects to life with a quirky liveliness, a splash of wobbly detail and some gentle humour.
Harriet is an active member of the art community and encourages everybody to empower themselves through artistic expression.
Harriet's work is also available from the Todmorden Information Centre Shop.

Creative With Nature
Creative with Nature as an idea started about 12 years ago. I was looking for a way to get people outdoors and to use, create with, understand and cherish the abundant natural materials all around us in our natural environment, to value where we live, not just in monetary terms but as a key to our own happiness. I work regularly with people from all walks of life teaching willow sculpture and basketry and I weave unique pieces for sale through my gallery and workshop in Todmorden.
